The fire retardant HDF board will NOT be burned at all even under 1300 degree Celsius temperature flame for 30 minutes. The HDF board has the same fire retardant A1 class as steel.

From the video you may see the steel sheet was melted, the HDF board only had a hole, but not caused fire. The temperature at the back of the HDF board was measured during the flame burning. The temperature gauge showed 28~30 degree Celsius room temperature. That means the heat insulation of HDF board is also excellent.
The strength of the HDF board is good enough to be used as construction material, fire-proof door, interior decoration, ceiling, wall, etc.
